Kattie is a compassionate and down-to-earth therapist who creates a safe, supportive space for clients to explore their stories and reconnect with their strengths. She works with individuals seeking deeper self-awareness, emotional healing, and more grounded relationships—with themselves and others.
Her clinical approach is relational, non-judgmental, and rooted in evidence-based practices, often blending humor, honesty, and curiosity. Kattie is especially passionate about helping clients break old patterns and move toward lasting change with clarity and confidence.
Before entering the field of therapy, Kattie spent several years supporting individuals and families impacted by addiction and mental health challenges. This work shaped her belief that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and supported on their journey toward healing.
Outside of the therapy room, Kattie enjoys chasing after her two toddlers and spending time with her beloved (and very large) Great Dane.

Reaching out for support can be one of the hardest steps to take. My goal is to provide a safe, welcoming space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as we work together toward meaningful change. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for growth, so I take the time to understand you as a unique individual and tailor therapy to your specific needs and goals.
My approach is compassionate, honest, and collaborative. I strive to balance empathy with direct feedback, helping you explore challenges, develop new perspectives, and build practical skills while always respecting your pace and readiness for change.
I integrate evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), guided imagery, and breathing techniques to support clients in a way that best fits their individual needs. I work with adults (18+) and couples from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.
In couples therapy, I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy and the Gottman Method to help partners strengthen communication, rebuild trust, deepen emotional and physical intimacy, and better understand one another. Whether you're navigating conflict, life transitions, or feeling disconnected, my goal is to help you and your partner create a stronger, more secure relationship.
Ultimately, my hope is to help you build the insight, confidence, and resilience to face life's challenges with greater clarity and create a life and relationships that feel more connected, meaningful, and fulfilling.

There is a proverb that says, “No one leaves this world unscathed.”
All of us will face pain and hardships at some point in our lives. Some people suffer in silence because they don’t believe others will listen or understand. Therapy can be a way for people to begin to feel heard and understood.
I have experience working with children, adolescents and adults. I meet people where they are and find value in many approaches to helping others, including but not limited to, Person Centered Therapy, CBT and Solution Oriented Therapy.
My goal is to help people learn to find the good in themselves and in their lives.
My greatest interest in my personal life is spending time with my family, especially my 10 nieces and nephews, and being outdoors in the summer.
